Privacy Policy
Proserrio does not monetise your data. We do not sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it to profile individuals. The tools on this site exist for one purpose: to understand how the website is used so we can make it more useful.
1. Who we are
Proserrio is a strategic technology advisory and implementation firm based in Pune, India. We can be reached at [email protected].
This Privacy Policy applies to proserrio.com and explains how we handle information when you visit the site or make contact with us.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
When you submit an enquiry or contact us directly, we collect the information you choose to share: typically your name, email address, company name, and the nature of your enquiry. Nothing is collected without your active participation.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the site, certain information is collected automatically through the third-party tools described in Section 3. This includes pages visited, time on page, scroll depth, click behaviour, device type, browser, and broad geographic location (country and city level). Individual visitors are not identified.
3. Third-party tools
The following tools are active on this website. Each collects anonymised behavioural data. None of the data collected is used for advertising, remarketing, or the sale of information.
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand traffic patterns, page performance, and visitor behaviour at an aggregate level. IP anonymisation is enabled; full IP addresses are never stored. GA4 uses first-party cookies to distinguish sessions.
Data is processed by Google LLC and may be stored on servers outside India. We have disabled advertising features and do not use GA4 for remarketing. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with specific pages through heatmaps and session recordings. This helps us identify where content is unclear or where navigation creates friction.
Clarity automatically masks sensitive inputs such as passwords and form fields before recording. Session recordings do not capture personally identifiable information. Data is processed by Microsoft Corporation. Microsoft's privacy policy is available at privacy.microsoft.com.
You can opt out of Microsoft Clarity by visiting clarity.microsoft.com/optout.
This website loads typefaces (Inter and DM Mono) from Google Fonts. When your browser requests a font file, Google's servers receive your IP address and browser information as part of a standard HTTP request. This is a technical requirement of how web fonts are delivered.
Google Fonts does not set cookies and does not use font requests for advertising purposes. Google's handling of font delivery data is governed by their privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
If you prefer fonts not to be loaded from external servers, you can disable web fonts in your browser settings. The site will fall back to system fonts.
Cookies
The cookies on this site are placed by Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity for session and behaviour tracking. We do not use advertising cookies, social media tracking pixels, or any third-party marketing cookies. You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings.
4. How we use the information
We use data collected on this site to respond to enquiries, improve the content and structure of the website, identify and resolve technical problems, and understand which topics and pages are most relevant to our audience.
We do not sell personal data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it for automated decision-making or individual profiling. The data serves one purpose: to make this site more useful to the people who visit it.
5. Legal basis for processing
Where the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) and its associated rules apply, we process personal data on the following bases:
- Consent — where you have actively provided information, such as submitting an enquiry form.
- Legitimate interests — for website analytics used to improve our services, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Legal obligation — where processing is required by applicable law.
6. Data retention
Enquiry data is retained for 24 months from the date of last contact. Analytics data is retained in accordance with the default retention periods configured in Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, subject to any settings we have applied. Font delivery logs are governed by Google's own retention policies.
7. Data transfers
Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and Google Fonts involve data processing by companies outside India. These transfers are governed by the privacy frameworks and data processing terms of the respective service providers. We take reasonable steps to confirm that adequate safeguards are in place.
8. Your rights
Under applicable Indian data protection law, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Request erasure of your personal data, subject to applicable exceptions
- Withdraw consent where processing is consent-based
- Lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India
To exercise any of these rights, write to us at [email protected]. We will respond within the timeframe required by law.
9. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data from unauthorised access, alteration, or disclosure. No method of transmission over the internet is entirely secure. We take our obligation to protect your information seriously and review our practices as the site evolves.
10. Children
This site is directed at business professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 18.
11. Updates to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our tools or practices change. The effective date at the top of this page reflects when the current version came into effect. Continued use of the website following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
